Silent war: Decades of human suffering in DRC

As of 2023, the Democratic Republic of Congo is home to an estimated population of approximately 6.9 million internally displaced people, according to the United Nations.

Experts say persistent intercommunal conflicts and ongoing military operations are the major factors for extensive and recurrent displacements, notably in the nation’s eastern region.

A Silent War tells the stories of a few individuals, among millions, who have been internally displaced due to ongoing inter-communal militia attacks and military operations, highlighting the particularly tragic outcomes for women and children.

It is unfortunate that since this African country received its independence 1960 brutal civil wars continue.

It is soon going to be 100 years of misery by African governance. Belgium realized and recognized that Congo was ungovernable. So they gave the bloody African country its independence especially through so called democratic elections.

Now that the country’s leadership seem to know that only the gun can put them in state power, well the civilians are suffering it out. The best advice one can give the suffering people is not to attend national elections.

That again is the advice one can give to the innocent African people of all African countries. They should hurry up and demand to register as voters but stay at home or in the bush of the Congo and elsewhere until voting is done.

The next day they should go out and try to work for their living.

They should let those leaders who in one hand they hold the gun of colonialism while on the other hand they hold the stolen or rigged democratic votes of the African peoples.

It is very clear for the African people who are educated and not educated that their African leaders are determined to stay put in state power whenever it is with their guns and stolen democratic votes until Jesus comes back to earth.

Unlike the colonizers and imperialists who mapped these African countries and hurriedly left such a human political catastrophe!
