Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, better known by his stage name Patoranking, is a Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter. And he is headed for Kampala, come October.
His concert was announced by the singer’s management team led by Maduforo Chidinma Didi during a press briefing held in Kampala last week.
“We can confirm from Ubuntu Connect & Evoke, Patoranking’s official representatives in Uganda, that the Nigerian dancehall artiste plans to perform live in Kampala in October 2019,” Didi said.
Didi said Patoranking will be in the country to promote his recently released album, Wilmer, named after his daughter. Thee award-winning Patoranking’s Wilmer is a 12-track beauty that features collabos from Nyashinski, Donae’O, Busiswa, Davido and many other multi-talented acts.
The most celebrated tracks on the album are, Wilmer, Temperature, Nakupenda, Turn Up and Confirm, the collaboration with Davido. Locally, Patoranking has recorded collabos with Eddy Kenzo and Jose Chameleone.
Didi did not confirm venues and time. The Nigerian artiste was announced to perform in Uganda last year but he did not turn up.
